## Resource

What makes a great remake? Faithfully honoring the original, completely reinventing it, or improving it so dramatically that the first movie becomes obsolete? This week, Griffey, Heath, Sam and Sophia draft the most messed-up movie remakes of all time. With The Thing and The Ring banned from competition, the board is wide open for body horror, slashers, alien invasions, vampires, psychosexual thrillers and one deeply disturbing Lindsay Lohan family comedy. Expect heated arguments over The Fly, Evil Dead, The Hills Have Eyes, Rob Zombie's Halloween, Nosferatu, Dredd, Friday the 13th and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, plus a compelling case for why The Parent Trap secretly qualifies as horror. Along the way, we thirst over Judge Judy, confuse Harry Styles with the Jonas Brothers, learn about Sam's fixation on powerful calves and discover Martin Scorsese's forgotten masterpiece, Infernal Desires. Whose final lineup wins the draft? Vote in the comments!
