## Resource

Tres Leches, Phoenix’s beloved 12-year-old cafe, is closing both its South-Central and Coronado locations after a brutal year marked by plummeting customers and soaring costs. Owner Jose Rivera credits the community—especially the South-Central spot, his “savior” during COVID—for keeping the doors open, and he’s inviting fans to share memories as he says goodbye. With more Arizona businesses closing than opening, this closure is a poignant reminder of how tough the economy has been for small local spots.
