## Resource

Former Arizona State football player Tevin Favor just got 34 years behind bars after being convicted of four counts of sexual assault — prosecutors call him a serial rapist, and the evidence reveals multiple attacks over years. This isn’t his first rodeo: he was acquitted in 2018 after a woman accused him of forced assault, but victims kept coming forward. The latest conviction stems from a 2023 party in Paradise Valley, where she says he overpowered her while she was intoxicated. Four women total have now come forward — some years after the assaults — and despite Favor never playing a game as a walk-on in 2012, his sentence marks a painful but crucial victory for survivors who risked everything to speak up.
