## Resource

The University of Memphis track and field crew is launching a new “Run Your City” chapter this fall, offering free six-week running programs to local kids to build confidence, healthy habits, and mentorship. Inspired by the national movement started at UVA in 2018, this Memphis chapter—led by sophomore Grace Schaff—focuses on accessibility and inclusion, connecting college athletes with youth to foster resilience, teamwork, and community. They’re raising funds for gear and snacks and seeking volunteers to support the fall and spring seasons, with plans to expand citywide. This isn’t just about running—it’s about creating a sustainable, welcoming space where every kid can thrive through sport and mentorship.
