## Resource

Memphis is on the verge of a historic leap, building momentum with stadium upgrades, strong athletic performance, and revenue-sharing reforms—yet past rejections from Power Four conferences still haunt them. Despite a major offer from the Big 12 being turned down last year, the Tigers are staying focused, eyeing 2028 for a potential ACC or Big 12 entry, hoping to capitalize on shifting media landscapes and a possible cap on conference memberships. With challenges like declining enrollment and a smaller media market, Memphis is betting on long-term strategy and pride to finally crack the elite tier.
