## Resource

Victoria’s crackdown on illegal tobacco sales is hitting hard—businesses caught selling bootleg smokes now face up to 90-day shutdowns, with police empowered to issue closure notices on the spot. Public support is strong, with most adults backing immediate closures of违法 shops. While federal politicians push to slash tobacco taxes to curb the black market, Victoria’s government stands firm on public health priorities.
