## Resource

A beloved 71-year-old motorcycle enthusiast, Peter Mason—known as Tiki—lost his life after hitting a pothole on Victoria’s Western Highway. His family is heartbroken, calling his death sudden and devastating, and urging the public to respect their privacy while honoring him for the love he gave. They’ve firmly rejected political exploitation of his passing and asked that his legacy be remembered through kindness, not controversy. As Victoria grapples with crumbling roads—nearly half in poor condition ahead of an election—the tragedy underscores urgent calls for infrastructure reform.
