## Resource

A brutal knife attack in Melbourne’s west left an 18-year-old girl seriously injured after being stomped, kicked, and stabbed by a group of over ten youths—what police believe was a premeditated assault sparked by an online feud. The victim, now stable in hospital, was joined by another woman also assaulted during the chaos. Bloodstains, discarded knives, and an empty knife packet at the scene point to a violent, planned confrontation. Authorities are treating this as a major knife crime incident, with the Premier pledging full support to tackle youth violence. Police urgently seek witnesses or tips through Crime Stoppers.
