## Resource

A Sydney university student, Marco Tapia, was fatally shot in his home under a tragic case of mistaken identity. Two teens, ages 14 and 16, face charges including firearm possession, vehicle theft, and involvement in a criminal group — though neither is accused of pulling the trigger. Authorities suspect they helped stage the attack, and both are denied bail. Marco’s parents described his death as a hate crime and a senseless loss. NSW police vow to end the city’s surge in violence, pledging full accountability for all involved as the investigation widens.
