## Resource

A former deputy president of Australia’s Fair Work Commission, Alan Boulton, has pleaded guilty to possessing child abuse material — a shocking turn for a man once honored with an Order of Australia and credited with shaping labor laws across Asia. The scandal erupted when disturbing images were accidentally shown during his Monash University lecture in February last year, leading to his suspension, police searches of his homes, and eventual guilty plea covering a brief window in early February. Despite his distinguished career and lack of prior criminal record, he faces sentencing next year — a case that starkly contrasts his legacy with his current legal troubles.
