## Resource

A former athlete took the stand in the Alan Jones trial, recounting a vivid, unwanted kiss from Jones over a decade ago — a moment he says haunts him still. Though he admitted sending Jones a shirtless selfie before the incident, he insists the kiss happened at a 2015 awards gala. Jones’s defense countered with affectionate texts between them, arguing they’re just part of Jones’s flirtatious style — not proof of any actual kiss. The complainant, who hasn’t pinpointed the exact location or details of the event, maintains his memory is crystal clear despite gaps in specifics. This marks the first time an alleged victim has testified in person in this closed court case, now entering its seventh week, as Jones remains defiantly not guilty to all charges.
