The year I shared a message titled “Now & Later.” Jesus says, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” He lived with the cross in His sight, showing us that real love finishes what it starts. So much of leadership lives in that tension. The uncertainty of now, while trusting God with what He’s building later. We can get so focused on what’s right in front of us that we forget where we’re going. But speed without direction is reckless. And discipleship is choosing what you want most over what you want now.
