## Resource

A former police officer, Tubah Hamid, has been jailed for three years after being found guilty of corruption for using her access to police systems to help a drug dealer evade detection — even meeting him while off sick and sharing confidential files without lawful reason. Her actions, spanning from late 2021 to early 2022, included advising the dealer on avoiding surveillance, searching police databases for others, and attending his home during a raid. The judge called her behavior audacious and a betrayal of public trust, emphasizing that no one is above accountability — especially when personal loyalty overrides professional duty.
