## Resource

Prime Minister Andy Burnham is making a bold move—running the Great North Run for the first time as PM, becoming the first sitting leader to do so. He’s no stranger to the course, having run it as Mayor of Greater Manchester, and this year he’s doing it to champion Changing Lives, a charity tackling homelessness and housing crises. Inspired by firsthand stories from Alex’s Place in Newcastle, Burnham sees ending rough sleeping as a top priority—and he’s calling on everyone to donate to support this moral mission.
