## Resource

A 23-year-old man, Cameron Caswell, was sentenced to six years and ten months after police found a gun stashed behind a fridge at his mom’s house — with his DNA and that of Samuel Adesanya on it. Adesanya, who’d been arrested earlier for the same weapon, was shot in the chest months prior by masked gunmen in a brutal attack that left him wounded and the stolen getaway car later burned. Three others were convicted for that shooting. Caswell, who claimed he was just curious and had mental health issues, admitted to all charges — including drug dealing — and received a harsh sentence amid warnings about the fear firearms instill in communities.
