## Resource

Today, I share a spiritual reflection on the Christian virtue of vigilance and the feast days of Saints Monica and Augustine. Drawing from the Gospel of Matthew, the homily emphasizes the need to stay spiritually awake to avoid the temptations of materialism and the devil. This alertness is achieved through consistent prayer and a daily examination of conscience, which helps ensure an individual remains on the correct moral path. The narrative warns that because the timing of the afterlife is unknown, one must live responsibly and purposefully, much like a security guard or a faithful servant. Ultimately, the exhortation made to listeners is to prepare for a final meeting with God by actively seeking and doing His will.
