Houston Rockets fans are buzzing: can Reed Sheppard force his way into a bigger role this season? As Fred VanVleet returns on an expiring contract and Marcus Smart shakes up the backcourt, all eyes are on Sheppard’s development after a rollercoaster rookie campaign. Has his improved efficiency and evolving handle positioned him for a breakout Sixth Man of the Year run? Host Jackson Gatlin (@JTGatlin) is joined by weekly cohost and NBA Draft enthusiast Madison Moore (@MadManLeaks) break down Sheppard’s strengths as a shooter, his defensive questions, and the dynamic fit alongside Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams. Key topics include the coaching staff’s trust in Sheppard, how lineup and rotation tweaks could open opportunities, and whether Rockets management might pivot away from VanVleet.
