## Resource

Houston Rockets’ Amen Thompson skyrockets to a top 4 NBA shooting guard ranking, stirring debate about positionless basketball and the evolution of the 2-guard role. Host Jackson Gatlin (@JTGatlin) unpacks HoopsHype’s latest rankings, questioning whether today’s shooting guards measure up to legends like Kobe Bryant and James Harden, and highlights the defensive prowess and versatility that set Amen apart in a shallow position pool. Trade buzz heats up as Gatlin breaks down the logic behind a potential Clint Capela-for-Al Horford swap, citing Ime Udoka’s Boston connections and Houston’s need for more floor-spacing at the five. Key analysis covers Capela’s diminishing offensive impact, Horford’s playoff-tested leadership, and the strategic flexibility this deal could bring to the Rockets’ rotation alongside Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams. Would this shakeup push Houston closer to contention in a stacked Western Conference?
