## Resource

Wisconsin’s technical colleges are asking for $168 million over two years to meet soaring demand for skilled workers—turning students away due to capacity limits. The funding targets operations, industry-specific grants, early college programs for high schoolers, adult basic skills training, and tech upgrades including cybersecurity. With critical roles like firefighters, nurses, and cops in short supply, this investment aims to keep Wisconsin’s workforce pipeline strong and competitive.
