## Resource

Oktoberfest USA’s annual medallion hunt is officially live—this year’s 12-day quest kicks off with a digital clue drop and ends October 1st. The winner claims $2,000 cash plus a custom-designed medallion by artist David Pries. Hidden in a La Crosse County park—accessible via paved path, 60 feet from road, possibly waterproof—the coin-style medallion promises adventure for seasoned hunters and newcomers alike. With safety and respect for nature as top priorities, this beloved 50+ year tradition embraces modernity through digital clues while keeping the spirit of friendly competition and community fun alive.
