## Resource

A Beloit man has been convicted of first-degree reckless endangerment after firing six shots at another person in July 2025 — a case that unfolded despite the victim’s refusal to cooperate. Investigators pieced together the incident using surveillance, cell data, license plates, and DNA, leading to his arrest in December 2025 on attempted homicide. With testimony from officers, witnesses, and crime lab experts, prosecutors secured the conviction. Sentencing is set for November 24th — and with his history, he could face up to 16.5 years behind bars. This gripping case underscores how persistence and evidence can hold dangerous actors accountable, even when the path is tough.
