## Resource

Luke Thomas says that the GOP is LOSING the battle for white male voters, which have reliably voted Republican for a long time. The debate over white male voters, Democratic messaging, and the future of the American left has become one of the biggest political flashpoints in the country. But is the narrative that today's progressive movement is hostile to white men actually true?Luke examines how the modern left has evolved from the identity politics debates of the past toward a broader coalition centered on affordability, healthcare, housing, economic opportunity, and limiting foreign wars. He argues that many conservative media narratives are stuck fighting yesterday's political battles while ignoring how today's progressive movement is attempting to build a much wider electoral coalition.Listen to the full conversation over on Luke's Substack:https://lthomas.substack.com/Chapters00:00 White men and the left01:26 What today's left actually wants02:51 Fear versus reality in US politics 04:22 Policies as identity in America 05:10 Trump's DC makeover sucks
