## Resource

Ukraine’s Zelenskyy signals Kyiv is ready to halt strikes on Russian territory—but only if allies secure a firm Russian pledge not to target Ukraine’s vital infrastructure, amid growing pressure from NATO and escalating drone attacks near Poland. As Trump claims Russia-Ukraine energy restraint talks are underway, Moscow remains silent. NATO’s Stoltenberg calls the drone raids a sign of Kremlin desperation, vowing stronger eastern defenses and rejecting Putin’s attempts to fracture the alliance. Poland braces for more cross-border strikes, while the Kremlin hints at Global South mediation—especially from China and India—as potential peace brokers. Zelenskyy urges partners to help broker a ceasefire, framing de-escalation of critical infrastructure attacks as the first step toward lasting peace.
