## Resource

A brand-new state veterans cemetery in West Texas has officially opened, honoring over 21,000 veterans and their families with dignity and pride. Breaking ground last November, it held a soft opening in June—already welcoming its first fallen heroes. Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham and local leaders celebrated the dedication, emphasizing that every service member deserves a sacred resting place. The city donated the land, underscoring community commitment. With 2,500 veterans already signed up, this isn’t just a burial site—it’s a powerful symbol of gratitude and remembrance for those who sacrificed everything for our freedom.
