## Resource

Lubbock County’s in chaos after paying two men for the same Precinct 2 commissioner job—Mark Meurer, appointed late last year, and Jason Corley, who was legally ordered to stay in the seat. The county’s wasting cash on duplicate payrolls as commissioners blast the mess, with some calling it a potential crime and others baffled by how it slipped through the cracks. County Judge Curtis Parrish says blame lies with all five commissioners, not him, since payroll is their court’s responsibility—and yet, no one stepped in to halt payments to Meurer while Corley’s were stopped immediately. Legal battles rage on, with oral arguments set for October 13th, and Meurer remains silent. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
