## Resource

Tensions flare across the Middle East as Iran blames the U.S. for an oil tanker strike near Kharg Island, while Washington stays silent — a sign of rising friction after a month of calm. In Jerusalem, the U.S. ambassador to Israel escalates criticism, calling Israeli settler violence “terror,” a term rarely used for settlers — describing vandalism and land seizures as crossing into criminal territory. Meanwhile, Houthi rebels in Yemen accuse government forces of killing three, amid intensified clashes along the coast, while Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon claim three lives and wound dozens after a drone launch. Amid mounting regional instability, Egypt’s top diplomat urges the U.S. and Iran to return to talks and safeguard vital shipping lanes through the Strait of Hormuz.
