## Resource

A 65-year-old man, Robert Kinney, faces murder charges after fatally shooting 37-year-old Stephon Jones outside his Lubbock home in a July 27th midnight confrontation. Witnesses say Kinney fired multiple shots; he claims self-defense, saying he shot a warning round after hearing a threatening comment, then discharged his gun when Jones allegedly attacked him unarmed. The revolver was recovered at the scene, and Kinney, arrested that night, has since been released on reduced bond.
