## Resource

A federal judge has extended a block on Trump’s controversial mail-in ballot plan, warning that forcing changes now could disenfranchise thousands of voters as states rush to mail ballots ahead of the midterms. The administration’s executive order, long criticized for undermining voting access, faces mounting legal hurdles — including a previous Supreme Court reversal — and is now headed for higher courts. With no state adopting the new Postal Service system and election deadlines looming, this ruling underscores the urgency and stakes of protecting voting rights in an election where mail ballots are critical.
