## Resource

For the first time in over 30 years, the Alien Terrorist Removal Court is being used to deport an Afghan woman, Nazira Haji Zada, accused of supporting ISIS and aiding a plot to attack American voters on Election Day — despite no criminal charges against her. Her lawyer argues the move violates her constitutional rights, while the Justice Department insists the court was created specifically for such cases. With her son and son-in-law already convicted, the government claims Zada is the matriarch of a terror-supporting family, and the court is now scrambling to build its legal infrastructure to handle this historic case.
