## Resource

AI anxiety is surging — nearly half of Americans now fear algorithms could steal their jobs, a sharp jump since 2016 when Siri and Alexa ruled the tech scene. The spike coincides with ChatGPT’s rise and the fading shadow of pandemic fears. Women and minorities report higher dread, while education gaps in concern are closing as both blue- and white-collar workers feel equally threatened. But here’s the twist: actual job losses haven’t matched the panic. Unemployment remains low, and new roles keep popping up — this isn’t about robots replacing humans, it’s about the terror of the unknown in a world racing toward artificial intelligence.
