## Resource

Whit Weeks is poised to lead LSU’s defense into a new era, stepping up as a senior captain under head coach Lane Kiffin and defensive coordinator Blake Baker, who aim to resurrect LSU’s dominant defensive identity. Weeks, already a First Team All-SEC standout despite injury setbacks, is fully healthy and laser-focused, taking personal ownership of the team’s past lack of intensity and pushing for a “nasty mentality.” With elite secondary support and a young defensive line needing to rise, Weeks’ leadership — backed by 205 tackles and 125 in 2024 alone — could be crucial. Even with his personal connection to Kiffin’s daughter, Landry, he remains laser-focused on the field, ready to deliver his most impactful season yet.
