## Resource

The Rams pulled off a surprise move before kickoff: veteran receiver Tutu Atwell, acquired just two weeks prior, was inactive despite being touted as a key addition. Meanwhile, quarterback depth is now crystal clear — Stetson Bennett is the No. 2 behind Matthew Stafford, with rookie Ty Simpson officially named the emergency third QB. Bennett’s camp familiarity and strong preseason play likely sealed his spot, even as Simpson impressed with near-perfect passing stats. With McVay hinting at possible changes later, these decisions set the stage for a pivotal opener against the 49ers.
