## Resource

The Rams’ 2026 season got off to a rocky start with a loss to the 49ers and Myles Garrett sidelined for injured reserve, sparking alarm from ESPN’s Chris Canty—who boldly claims Garrett’s absence could effectively end the Rams’ season. Canty’s reasoning? The defense’s run-stopping woes, allowing six yards per carry against the 49ers, put immense pressure on the offense. While the Rams had planned a trade to bolster their defense, Canty’s extreme take highlights how one star’s injury could cripple the team—though whether they can adapt remains to be seen.
