## Resource

The Rams’ defense just took a brutal hit as star defensive end Myles Garrett goes on injured reserve after knee surgery, missing at least four games—with his earliest return penciled in for Week 6. Already struggling with a 27th-ranked defense, the team now faces an uphill battle to stay competitive against tough opponents like the Giants, Broncos, Eagles, and Bills. Garrett’s early-season woes—including missed camp time and a quiet opener—raised concerns, and coach Sean McVay confirmed surgery was the best move to ensure Garrett can return strong later in the season. With Aaron Donald’s impact potentially diminished without him, the Rams’ playoff hopes may hinge on how quickly they adapt.
