## Resource

The LA Rams’ season opener in Australia ended in a humiliating 27-7 loss to the 49ers, exposing deeper issues than just travel fatigue. Despite star power and high expectations, the team failed to execute, communicate, or compete — even against a divisional foe ranked third. Coach Sean McVay’s insistence that the trip wasn’t the problem only deepens the mystery. Players like Myles Garrett defend the decision, but critics — including 49ers players who arrived earlier — are quick to point fingers. This loss adds to McVay’s troubling history of tough starts, including a 2022 defeat that launched a disastrous championship season. While Blake Corum and Kyren Williams showed promise on offense, Matthew Stafford was quiet and the defense was overwhelmed. The Rams face a steep climb before their next game against the Giants.
