## Resource

Jared Young of the Mets took a brutal hit during a collision with pitcher Nolan McLean, getting a knee to the head and briefly knocked out — but he gave a thumbs-up as he was carted off, easing fears. CT scan results were clear, though concussion symptoms were present; he retains full use of his limbs. Teammates and manager praised the “scariest outcomes” being avoided, and fans are rallying behind the 31-year-old slugger as he recovers from a play that had everyone on edge.
