## Resource

The LA Kings rookies are hitting the ice in San Jose for the high-stakes Rookie Faceoff, where every shift matters more than ever with a shortened preseason. Goalies Carter George and Hampton Slukynsky are battling for AHL reps, while veterans Kuemper and Forsberg need sharp play to set the tone. Henry Brzustewicz, a first-round pick, eyes an NHL push after a strong OHL season, and Jared Woolley, now expected to lead the blue line, is proving he’s ready for the next level. Adam Goljer, Giorgos Pantelas, and Lucas Ambrosio get their first taste of pro competition, while vets like Jared Wright and Kenny Connors aim to lock down roster spots—this tournament is their ultimate proving ground before the NHL season kicks off.
