## Resource

The LA Kings cap off their rookie showcase with a high-stakes showdown against the Utah Mammoth, aiming to finish 2-1 after a strong win over Anaheim. Expect lineup shifts, especially on defense, as forwards Koehn Ziemmer and Liam Lefebvre shine—Ziemmer’s got a knack for scoring in these events, while Lefebvre makes his mark in his first big tournament. Goalie duties are up in the air: rookie Yegor Rybkin could start, or they might split time between Carter George and Hampton Slukynsky. Meanwhile, Jared Wright, an alternate captain with NHL experience, leads the Kings’ charge, while Utah’s Daniil But brings seasoned play. After this game, all eyes turn to NHL training camp starting September 17th—with several rookies primed for action—and preseason opener against Vegas on the 19th.
