## Resource

The LA Kings say goodbye to Anze Kopitar after 20 seasons and hello to Drew Doughty as their new captain — a natural leader who’s been a rock on defense for over a decade and now wears the “C” to guide the team into a new era. With two Cups, a Norris Trophy, and deep ties to the franchise, Doughty is ready to lead by example as the Kings kick off their 2026-27 season against the Colorado Avalanche.
