## Resource

Shawne Merriman is buzzing for the Chargers’ future, crediting new OC Mike McDaniel’s smart move to join the team — especially with Justin Herbert under center. Merriman sees this as a masterstroke for McDaniel’s head coaching ambitions and believes it’s the key to unlocking a high-scoring offense. With explosive QB Herbert, talented receivers like Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey, and a healthy running back, Merriman predicts a major offensive upgrade that could finally push the Chargers into playoff contention. Having spent his prime years in San Diego and earned multiple Pro Bowl nods, Merriman knows what it takes — and he’s convinced this roster has everything needed to make noise again.
