## Resource

Nikko Reed, a rookie cornerback who spent his first season with the Chargers after going undrafted, has been signed by the New York Giants to their active roster — a move aimed at filling critical cornerback gaps as the Giants deal with multiple injuries. Reed, who recorded two tackles and one pass deflection in five games last year, gets a fresh shot to prove himself. In return, the Chargers bolster their practice squad by re-signing veteran Kaiir Elam, a former first-round pick with over 100 tackles and interceptions, now set for his fifth team. Meanwhile, wide receiver Ladd McConkey is showing encouraging progress from a rib injury, participating in individual workouts — a positive sign for the Chargers’ offense amid other receiver setbacks.
