In today's episode, Brian and Jamie discuss the always daunting, and tricky task of parenting - especially in today's culture where social media, and "popularized" parenting pressures from all sides, can make us question if we're doing anything right!! They discuss the stress of the holiday times, many times made worse by us working ourselves into a frenzy as parents, trying to be the "perfect" gift-givers for our kids. They talk about their serendipitous conversation with 2 other couples in a 103 degree "World Spring" hot tub, which led to an incredible bonding experience, as they all shared just how hard it is to parent our kids these days. We all love our children, and for sure mean well, but many times, our deepest intuitions will be tested, and although there may be a societal tidal wave in an opposite direction, many times those "popular" opinions will prove to be incorrect.
