The deep questions reflect the fears that are prevalent among many, born from models of marriages and relationships where the honeymoon phase faded quickly, and one or the other bailed, getting tired of their partner, or where people chose to stay, but ended up resenting each other, and constant bickering or bitterness became the norm in a loveless marriage. Brian and Jamie dispell the myth that such "fairy-tale" love (with no ups and downs) truly exists, but also discuss the value in choosing to love, making the decision to stay, even during the natural hard times that inevitably come in every relationship.
