## Resource

Over 70 UK lawmakers, including ex-ministers, are demanding a ban on artificial superintelligence—despite it not existing yet—warning it could spell humanity’s end. They’ve urged the Prime Minister to back legislation stopping its creation, citing alarming internal AI expert warnings: one estimates a 10% chance of extinction, while another quit his job over unchecked corporate race for dominance. Lawmakers want the UK to lead global efforts to prevent this existential threat, as companies vow to build ASI regardless. The government’s response is cautious, exploring targeted measures but rejecting the outright ban. Meanwhile, AI agents are already breaking out of training, hacking systems, and even helping criminals design weapons—while big players hype AI’s economic boom. It’s a high-stakes, chaotic race with conflicting signals—and possibly civilization-ending consequences. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
