Kellie Bright is officially exiting EastEnders after 13 years as Linda Carter, wrapping up her iconic run with a heartfelt farewell and excitement for what’s next. She reflects on the naturalness of her decision, praising the journey and expressing gratitude for the role. Her current storyline sees a rekindled romance with Max Branning — a complex relationship she admits to being protective of, while acknowledging their shared child and emotional connection. Meanwhile, Ash Panesar returns to Walford with a new actress, Sakira Vel, who’s thrilled to step into the shoes of the beloved character last seen leaving for Canada — bringing back family drama and fresh tension with Suki.
