## Resource

West Virginia may have uncovered one of the most explosive athletes in the entire Big 12. UNLV transfer safety Andrew Powdrell reportedly posted two 4.32-second 40-yard dashes, reached 23.2 MPH multiple times, recorded a 38.5-inch vertical and produced a 10-foot-11 broad jump—all team-leading numbers on WVU’s leaked measurables board. Today, we break down Powdrell’s ridiculous athletic profile, his rapid rise since spring football and what Rich Rodriguez told ESPN’s Pete Thamel about the overlooked transfer. We’re also unveiling our updated July 2026 Big 12 Brand Power Rankings—measuring national recognition, fan passion, identity, tradition and current momentum: 1. BYU — Rising 18% 2. Texas Tech — Rising 20% 3. Kansas — Rising 2% 4. West Virginia — Rising 15% 5. Utah — Rising 3% 6. Oklahoma State — Rising 9% 7. Arizona — Rising 7% 8. Colorado — Falling 8% 9. TCU — Falling 2% 10. Kansas State — Rising 5% 11. Arizona State — Rising 14% 12. Iowa State — Rising 8% 13. Baylor — Falling 6% 14. UCF — Rising 12% 15. Cincinnati — Falling 1% 16. Houston — Rising 9% These rankings are not based on wins, roster strength or athletic-department revenue. This is strictly a ranking of each program’s overall brand power—and WVU’s renewed national attention has the Mountaineers climbing fast. Do you believe Andrew Powdrell is the most athletic player on WVU’s roster? And which Big 12 brand did we rank too high or too low? Sponsors FanDuel Today's episode is brought to you by FanDuel.
