## Resource

Ross Hodge and West Virginia basketball are making a serious push for five-star-caliber point guard Micah Gordon—and the explosive 2027 prospect is officially coming to Morgantown! Gordon has experienced a meteoric rise through the national rankings after averaging 24.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists while leading Plainfield to consecutive New Jersey state championships. Now headed to SPIRE Academy, the powerful 5-foot-10 guard has scheduled an official visit to WVU for September 22–24. We go Full Mestemaker on Gordon’s game, including his elite paint penetration, explosive athleticism, playmaking, physicality, defensive intensity and the areas he must still develop. Could he become the next centerpiece of Hodge’s backcourt? We also break down West Virginia’s challenging 2026–27 nonconference schedule, including Auburn, Virginia Tech and the loaded Players Era tournament in Las Vegas. Is Ross Hodge cooking up another major recruiting victory for WVU? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
