## Resource

Pat McAfee is under fire as ESPN reportedly considers paying more than $60 million annually for his entire media operation—and critics are blaming him for everything from Ryan Clark’s firing to ESPN’s growing list of layoffs. Dan Le Batard has also accused McAfee of pretending to be “anti-establishment,” but is that criticism actually fair? We break down every complaint surrounding McAfee, defend the former West Virginia Mountaineer, and explain why ESPN’s corporate decisions are ESPN’s responsibility—not Pat’s. PLUS: The WVU disrespect continues! CFBudge actually picked Coastal Carolina to beat West Virginia in Morgantown. Is this a legitimate upset possibility—or one of the most ridiculous predictions of the entire preseason?
