## Resource

Tennessee Volunteers dominate Furman 56-9 as Faizon Brandon delivers a historic debut, tying a freshman touchdown record and displaying dual-threat prowess. Could this performance ignite a new era under Josh Heupel? The spotlight shines on Brandon’s precision passing to Mike Matthews and commanding red-zone runs, while backup George MacIntyre’s solidified the Vols’ quarterback depth. The conversation focused on the offensive line’s constant rotation, Pro Football Focus grades, and Tennessee’s evolving defensive schemes—including frequent 3-3-5 looks to maximize their deep linebacker corps. Key themes include DeSean Bishop’s explosive ground game, Isaiah Davis’s standout fourth quarter for Furman, and potential adjustments ahead of the matchup against Georgia Tech. The discussion explored snap counts, scheme versatility, and the challenges the Vols must address to keep momentum against tougher opponents. Will Tennessee’s young core capitalize on this momentum?
