## Resource

Tennessee Volunteers honor General Neyland with striking new Smokey Grey uniforms, blending historical details and modern design for their upcoming clash against Auburn. Are these the best Smokey Greys yet, and will a tribute to Tennessee’s past spark energy at Neyland Stadium this fall? Eric Cain breaks down the creative choices behind the “Legacy Smoky Grays”—from leather helmet inspirations and blueprint accents to the interlocking UT logo—highlighting their deep nods to Vols history. Key topics include the schedule for debuting these jerseys, the pros and cons of wearing them versus Auburn instead of traditional non-conference matchups, and how the quarterback battle between Faizon Brandon and George MacIntyre shapes up before the second preseason scrimmage. Plus, Eric Cain shares his wish list for Tennessee’s camp finale, from better run defense to dependable snaps.
